See what trained clients have to say!
I was having problems with my new puppy jumping on people when they came to the house. He is 70 pounds and lots of energy so I was afraid he would unintentionally hurt someone. I've known Di for years and now that she has started her training business, I called her for help. She did great with Calvin! Not only did she work with him at the house but she taught me techniques to use to carry on with the training. Calvin is still a puppy and still gets excited but now things are under control! I really appreciate Di's help and would recommend her to anyone looking for assistance with their four legged family members.
I found Find Your Inner Dog after desperately looking for the perfect trainer for our pitties newly found leash aggression. I read Miss Dianne's story of Petunia how she became a trainer and knew that she would be our best chance at learning how to walk politely. I reached out and immediately clicked with Dianne, texting her for almost two hours the first night we had ever talked.Dianne was so flexible with her schedule, as we were night shift travel nurses, hoping to get a few training sessions in before heading back to busy busy Chicago and big scary elevators. Miss Dianne knows her stuff.
She is a no bullshit kind of girl and didnt let the boys get away with their ill-manners. Training two big dogs at once was a lot, but she was up for the task. I loved that a big basis of her training had to do with the owner being calm and in control, where we practiced being confident and "chill" while holding the leash. We loved being able to go to her home and practice around her "pack" as well as the other dogs she was training. Now both dogs are confident in the elevators and continuously working on their manners on leash. Not only is Dianne and wonderful dog trainer but she and her husband are just all around kind people. The only downfall is we wish we could've stayed in Arizona longer to get more training/time with her.
